Outpatient laser surgery
A variety of procedures can be performed using special methods and modern medical technology using a local anaesthetic so that the patient can leave the clinic on the same day. This enables a rapid recovery in the familiar comfort of home.
Surgical procedures on skin and veins are done on an outpatient basis whenever possible. The removal of skin alterations such as benign and malignant tumours as well as plastic surgery procedures with a local anaesthetic can be done as ambulant procedures. Appointments are scheduled in such a way that we are able to work around your wishes as much as possible.
Ambulant laser therapy
The gentle removal of skin alterations such as thread veins, spider veins, pigment spots, tattoos and port-wine stains. I perform these procedures in my dermatology centre using gentle and painless lasers.
Modern laser technology is a silver bullet in solving a plethora of cosmetic problems. This gentle method is ideal for the removal of small wrinkles as well as pigment spots, birthmarks or spider veins. Laser treatment is also successfully used for permanent hair removal.
The laser removes the top layer of the skin without damaging deeper layers. The skin subsequently reforms. A superficial abrasion forms on the treated area which resolves within a few days.
Gentle and very effective
uring laser treatment, only a slight burning sensation is felt. A local analgesic (ointment) is applied for people who are sensitive to pain. Most areas of the body are nearly pain-free however.
What happens during treatment?
Treatment lasts ca. 30-60 minutes. Depending upon the nature of the treated areas, the process may have to be repeated once. A fine laser beam destroys the blood vessels and converts them into connective tissue. You will feel a quick succession of superficial, small pricks. These are not painful so as a general rule, they do not require anaesthesia, however an analgesic cream can be applied upon request.

The progression of time and the stress of modern life cause our skin to look older.
These signs of skin aging and sun damage are most visible in a person’s face. While there are numerous methods from simple creams to major surgeries to correct various superficial defects, as skin specialists we have always looked for methods for bringing about improvements that have a low risk and no downtime. In addition, conventional methods often only fulfil a single condition while bringing with them an extended recovery period associated with significant pain and potential side effects.
Fresh, smooth skin is the epitome of youth. The process of aging leaves no one untouched. As a person gets older, a youthful, relax and rested appearance becomes a significant factor in a person’s well-being and self-confidence.
Modern, aesthetic medicine has numerous non-surgical methods for binging about skin rejuvenation available and is one of the specialties offered in the dermatology centre.
IPL- photo rejuvenation is a non-invasive treatment method that removes skin damage without damaging the skin surface and which therefore does not require any “down time”. Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is simultaneously able to safely and effectively treat a wide array of skin problems such as:
- vascular-related changes
- teleangiectases
- rosacea

- sin discolouration
- pigmentary changes
- depigmentation
- wrinkles/changes in skin elasticity

Laser therapy (resurfacing)
The use of laser therapy is one of the most versatile and yet gentle methods of treatment in the field of aesthetic medicine. Six different laser systems are currently used in aesthetic dermatology alone.
Depending upon the laser light, it penetrates to different skin depths. The energy of the laser beams absorbed by the skin can be tissue-conserving and at the same time, produce the desired effects with pinpoint accuracy. The highly technical procedure should be performed only by specialised physicians.
